Metzinger and Associates
is a Premier Legal Office specializing in Social Security Benefits. When I started working with them, they had an outdated website which wasn’t mobile friendly and was hard to update.
The first thing that had to be done, was to figure out the core values and services that the company had. Based on those, we could figure out what the content of the website was going to be.
Since the majority of the clients interested in Social Security Benefits were older and less tech savvy, the site had to be adapted to their needs. I chose to use simpler layouts and larger fonts, without complicating things too much. The key here is to make everything easy to find and easy to read.
One of the big requirements was also to have site be bilingual. A custom solution was implemented to make sure that the Spanish speaking audience had access to the same content as the English speaking visitors did.
Prior to working with us, potential customers had to get on the phone with the staff in order to fill out pre-qualification form. It would take a lot of the staff’s time and often involved difficulties finding the time to do it. We implemented a number of contact forms, per case type cases, which customers can fill out on their own. The staff then will get notified about a new submission and can follow up with the request. That alone freed up a lot of time for the staff to handle ongoing cases and not being distracted by too many phone calls.
